15 years ago Abdi Nor Iftin was learning English by watching action movies in his home country of Somalia, earning the nickname, “Abdi American”. Now he is the author of the critically acclaimed memoir “Call Me American,” and a proud resident of Maine. Join us to learn more about Abdi’s experiences as an immigrant during his incredible journey from war-torn Mogadishu to the United States.
