Join us for 'DISCOVERY KIDS', our series of afterschool, interactive, enrichment programs for children grades K-4, which expose kids to the wonders of our scientific and natural world.
There are many wonderful and amazing creatures and inventions that fly, but only one type that is easily created and endlessly fun for children: Paper Airplanes! Join Educator Steve Lechner for this wonderful romp through the world of paper airplanes and flying creations as we build Gliders, Helicopters, Flying Fish, and even a Doughnut Airplane! Come join us as we explore the wonders of flight and flying with fantastic flyers that children can take home and try themselves, as they make their own “Flying-Things Museum”!
Required online registration starts Monday, December 16 at 9:00 a.m.
NOTE: Children traditionally will go into the program without their parents/caregivers. HOWEVER, FOR THIS PROGRAM, AT THE PERFORMER'S REQUEST, CAREGIVERS PLEASE BE PREPARED THAT YOU MAY BE REQUESTED TO COME IN TO THE PROGRAM TO HELP OUT WITH THE HANDS-ON COMPONENT.
