Join us for 'DISCOVERY KIDS', our series of afterschool, interactive, enrichment programs for children grades K-4, which expose kids to the wonders of our scientific and natural world.
Join educator Steve Lechner for this magically entertaining workshop that explores the wonders of Optical Illusions! Seeing is believing...or is it? Not when Optical Illusions are involved! This workshop will show children how to make their own optical illusions as we test out visual effects, moire patterns, impossible objects, and color changing experiments that they can use to fool their friends and family with startling and "magical" results!
Required online registration starts Monday, October 28 at 9:00 a.m.
NOTE: Children traditionally will go into the program without their parents/caregivers. HOWEVER, FOR THIS PROGRAM, AT THE PERFORMER'S REQUEST, CAREGIVERS PLEASE BE PREPARED THAT YOU MAY BE REQUESTED TO COME IN TO THE PROGRAM TO HELP OUT WITH THE HANDS-ON COMPONENT.
