Join us for 'DISCOVERY KIDS', our series of afterschool, interactive, enrichment programs for children grades K-4, which expose kids to the wonders of our scientific and natural world.
Where does snow come from? What do snowflakes look like? Can you catch one? And does Mr. Steve even know what snow IS? Come learn more about this "frozen water" as you discover some Snowy-Science experiments to help you through the long winter months. We'll read a little story, look at Mr. Steve's Snow "collection", see his amazing little snowman, test out some experiments with some VERY cold water, and find out what Mr. Steve's job USED to be before he was a Science Teacher!
Required online registration starts Tuesday, January 30 at 9:00 a.m.
NOTE: Children traditionally will go into the program without their parents/caregivers. HOWEVER, FOR THIS PROGRAM, AT THE PERFORMER'S REQUEST, CAREGIVERS PLEASE BE PREPARED THAT YOU MAY BE REQUESTED TO COME IN TO THE PROGRAM TO HELP OUT WITH THE HANDS-ON COMPONENT. ALSO, CHILDREN ARE EXPECTED TO BE ABLE TO SIT POLITELY AND INDEPENDENTLY DURING THE PRESENTATION. ANY INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR MAY RESULT IN THE CAREGIVER HAVING TO SIT WITH THE CHILD.
