In March of 2003, Erica Thatcher Busa boarded a one-way flight to Georgia with the sole intention of walking from Springer Mountain back home to New England.  Over the course of the next six months, Erica traveled 2172 miles through 14 states, over countless mountaintops, and through valleys, rivers, and communities, large and small.
