SPECIAL 1 DAY EVENT!  Don't have the supplies at home but want to participate in the Bad Art Library Dragon contest?  STOP BY THE LIBRARY AND WORK ON THE KIT IN THE TEEN DEPARTMENT!  

Register, then stop by the library on Friday, August 6th to pick up a free starter kit and to work on your dragon right there!   I'll provide the hot glue guns and various other supplies.  Don't see what you need?  Just ask, I'll see what I can find in my vast array of recycled "junk".

Grab your sense of humor and participate in this no pressure art contest!  We want you to do your "best" bad work of art.  Create any version of a "Library Dragon" using, but not limited to the few supplies that we give you.    How cool would it be to have a library filled with reading dragons.     WIN PRIZES! 

Grades 5-12  

Your entries will be placed on display throughout the main floor of the library at the end of August.   Judging will begin the first week of September.  Prizes will be awarded based on the number of entries submitted and grade levels.
