Have you, your friends, or your loved ones been targeted by a COVID-19 scam? Have you heard about this happening to others in your community? Join us for a virtual program presented by Amy Schram of the Better Business Bureau and Robin Putnam of the MA Office of Consumer Affairs & Business Regulation that will cover major scams currently circulating in the community, including COVID-19 fraud concerns, the major red flags to watch out for, and the precautionary steps we can take to best protect ourselves from falling victim. This program will be introduced by Sergeant Tara Conners of the Billerica Police Department, who will share the resources available through our local police department for those who may have been targeted by a COVID-19 scam.
