*IN PERSON* Adult Program - Memory Café

Wednesday, August 111:00—2:00 PMCOA TentOffsiteSee program description for location, Billerica, MA, 01821

The Billerica Public Library and the Billerica Council on Aging are excited to offer our first in-person Memory Café in over a year on Wednesday, August 11th at 1:00 p.m.! This café will be held outside, under the Billerica Council on Aging's tent in the BCOA parking lot next to the library. We hope you will join us for a fun hour of entertainment and connection for people living with dementia and their care partners.

This month, we will be welcoming Steve Gintz to the cafe. Steve is a board-certified music therapist, licensed mental health counselor, and certified dementia practitioner working in the Boston area. Steve brings the joy and power of music via live music-making and chair-based movement/exercise. From Sinatra to Elvis, show tunes to jazz standards, both live and recorded music will fill the air. Folks are welcomed to move, stretch, and sing along, or simply sit and enjoy!
