Join us on Tuesday, April 27th at 7 pm for a discussion of four short films in the "Authentic Comedy Short Film Collection," compiled by Film Movement.

Information on the films:

The Gunfighter

In the tradition of classic westerns, a narrator (Nick Offerman) sets up the story of a lone gunslinger who walks into a saloon. However, the people in this saloon can hear the narrator and he may just be a little bit bloodthirsty. (Winner of Best Short Film at the Los Angeles Film Festival.)

So You've Grown Attached

An off-beat comedy about Ex, an imaginary friend, who is forced to consider retirement when his creator, Izzy, starts to grow up. (Winner of Best Narrative Short at the San Francisco International Film Festival.)

A Family Portrait

A family portrait goes horribly wrong as jealousy and suspicion bubble to the surface under the photographer's relentless gaze. As the session reaches a disturbing conclusion, it's clear that this truly will be a day to remember. (Nominated for Best Short Film at the Chicago International Film Festival.)

The Foreigner

A remote Greek village must raise its population in order to avoid being cut off from the local government. When a foreigner, Eric, stumbles into town, the village mayor rallies the hostile townspeople to convince Eric to stay.
