Desi Women Empowered is a new non-profit organization (EIN: 82-2607583). It is Desi Women Empowered’s mission to provide a safe and supportive learning environment in which women and children of South Asian descent can express themselves and advocate for themselves within their family systems and the community. The first program we are rolling out is a monthly family game night in which members of the community in the Greater Lowell Area (Chelsmford, Lowell, Billerica, Westford, etc.) can learn about culturally specific mental health resources in the area.
