Founded in 1913 by the Science Teachers’ Bureau, the Boston Children’s Museum is the second oldest children’s museum in the world and one of the few that maintain a collection. Designed for both children and families, the Museum exhibits focus on science, culture, environmental awareness, health & fitness, and the arts, emphasizing hands-on engagement and learning through experience, and employing play as a tool to spark the inherent creativity, curiosity, and imagination of children.

Pass Benefits
Digital pass admits up to 4 visitors at half-price admission. General admission rates are $22.00 per person. Infants under one year old are free.
Online timed-tickets must be purchased in advance at the Children’s Museum website. Be sure to reserve “Half Price Library Timed Tickets” under the “Discount Programs” section at www.bostonchildrensmuseum.org/ticketing. Upon arrival at the museum, you will have to show your tickets and library pass for admission. The date on the pass must match the date of your visit.
You may print the attached pass at home, display it on your smartphone, or pick up a printed copy at the library.

New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill

Located in Boylston, MA, and open year-round, the New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill features carefully planned gardens and collections of ornamental, edible and native plants, with a number of trails that traverse the 132-acre property. In addition, there are many programs and events, including classes, lectures, art exhibits and concerts. The Garden is run by the Worcester County Horticultural Society, the third oldest active horticultural society in the United States.

Pass admits 2 guests at half price. Weekday admission rates are $20 for adults, $17 for seniors, $10 for children 6-18, free for members and children under 5. Weekend admission rates are $21 for adults, $18 for seniors, $11 for children 6-18, free for members and children under 5. Dogs are admitted at a rate of $8 per canine each day of the week.
Pass cannot be applied to to tickets for special events such as Night Lights.
Patrons will need to check out the museum pass from the library and bring it with them to the New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill to receive the discount.
Please return this pass on the day of use. The pass may be returned in the outside drop box during off hours.
Online pre-reservations are no longer required for general admission visit but are still available for those who would like to purchase tickets in advance of their visit. The physical museum pass will still need to be picked up from the Billerica Public Library and shown upon arrival at the New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill .
